Aviendha Gabrielle

My name is Aviendha, and I would love to bring lovely, calming harp music to your event. When I was eight, I had a choice to make between learning ballet or the harp. In case you haven't quite deciphered which one I chose (which is highly unlikely, as you seem the kind of person to make intelligent decisions such as hiring a harpist for your events), I should clarify that I'd prefer to be the one playing the Nutcracker Suite, rather than dancing to it.

Since I began taking lessons, I've performed at weddings, funerals, banquets, recitals, nursing homes, and various other events. The most moving occasion for me is playing at the bedside of a dying individual, hoping that my music brings them peace and calm. At age 13, I played at one nursing home several times, and the residents enjoyed it so much that I began to wonder if I could make it my career to bring happiness to others through my music. Finding out about music therapy was an exciting moment for me. Currently I am working my way towards buying a concert harp and earning a degree in music therapy.
